When dried in sheet form, they become concentrated forms of detergent that dissolve quickly in water. 

This means that all you need to do is throw a sheet into your dishwasher or washing machine and it will dissolve into the water to remove stains, germs and grime. How Do You Use Detergent Sheets?

Detergent sheets can be used exactly as you would any regular detergent. While they’re better for the environment, made from plant-based ingredients, and come in a different form; it works the same as your normal cleaning products. However, if you’re going to hand wash some dishes or just have a small load of light washing, then you can also tear a sheet in half. Half a sheet will be enough detergent to wash a small load of clothes or wash a few dishes after dinner in the sink.

On the other hand, if your clothes are filthy and need a lot of detergent to wash, then we’d recommend adding one and a half sheets or even up to two sheets if you have a lot. However, this would likely be unusual and generally, one sheet should be enough for all your needs.
